Kelly Ray Riley, age 79, passed away at his home following a courageous fight with bone cancer.

He was born August 3, 1912 in Bountiful, son of Arthur Ray and Charlotte "Lottie" Davis. He married Mary Tomasini, December 10, 1937. Three children were born to their union: Ernest Ray, Penryn, Calif.; Mary Ann, N.S.L.; and James Kelly (Jim), Garland, Utah.He is survived by his wife, children, 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; very special spouses, Rebecca C. Riley, R. Gene Tidwell, and Sheila W. Riley, three sisters; Alice (Bunny) Newman, Raone (Sammy) Bingham, Reva Jean Kunz, and sister-in-law Barbara (Bobbie) Riley. Preceded in death by brothers Del, Paul, Max, and grand-daughter Lizabeth.

Kelly and Mary spent 25 years, from 1946-1970, in the Uintah Basin farming and ranching in Altonah. They moved back to Bountiful to "Retire" and "Putter Around" in the soil and share the beauty of their garden and flowers; as he lived his motto: "The Right Way, The Wrong Way-The Riley Way!"

His desire upon death was to participate in the U. of U. Medical School Body Donor Program. There will be no funeral, a private graveside memorial service is pending.
