The Sizzler Deer Valley Bluegrass Festival is slated for Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Snow Park Lodge. The event is presented by KKAT Radio.
Beginning at noon, the festival will continue through 9:30 p.m. with performers scheduled for every hour.Featured guests at 12 noon: Oquirrh Ridge Drifters; 1 p.m. Tracy Moore; 2 p.m.: Southfork; 3:30 p.m. Bluegrass Conspiracy; 4:30 p.m. Beth McIntosh; 5:30: Front Range; 6:45: Loose Ties and 8 p.m.: The Eddie Adcock Band.
A free post-event jam session is planned with musicians from the Intermountain Acoustic Music Association at the Wasatch Brew Pub, 250 South Main Street, SLC, beginning at 9:30 p.m.
Advance tickets for the festival are $10 for adults and children or $22 for a family pass, which allows two adults and up to four children 12 years and under. Tickets are available at the gate for $12 for adults and children or $24 for a family pass.
Tickets are available in Salt Lake at Acoustic Music, Intermountain Guitar and Banjo, Smokey's Records. In Provo, Great Salt Lake Guitar and in Roy, at NuSound Music. Park City outlets are Deer Valley Plaza and Get In Here Records.
