There are still plenty of good seats available for the final week of the Utah Shakespearean Festival, according to founder and executive producer Fred C. Adams.

"We still have good tickets for nearly every performance through Sept. 7," he said. "We hope that people in the area who have not yet taken the chance to see some of our highly acclaimed productions will not let the season end thinking there are no tickets available."Sometimes, because this has been a good summer for the festival, our patrons - especially those in Iron County and nearby communities, think that the tickets are all sold out. Simply put, that isn't true . . . I would hate to see anyone not enjoy these great productions because they were under the false impression they couldn't get tickets."

R. Scott Phillips, the festival's managing director, added, "This is a very enjoyable time to enjoy the festival, especially for those who live in the area. The evenings are a bit cooler, the crowds are a bit less frantic, and the plays, near the end of the season, in many cases are at their best."

Evening performances are "Death of a Salesman" on Monday and Thursday, "The Taming of the Shrew" on Tuesday and Friday and "Misalliance" on Wednesday and Saturday," with matinees of "Salesman" on Wednesday and Saturday, "Shrew" on Monday and Thursday and "Misalliance" on Tuesday and Friday, all in the Randall L. Jones Theatre.

Plays in the Adams Shakespearean Theatre are "Twelfth Night," Monday and Thursday evenings and Wednesday and Saturday matinees; "Volpone," Tuesday and Friday, and "Hamlet," Wednesday and Saturday.
