It's too early to tell how charges in the legal field may affect time on the playing field for quarterback Rick Mirer and linebacker Demetrius DuBose, a Notre Dame official said Saturday.

Mirer, 21, a junior from Goshen, Ind., and DuBose, 20, a junior from Seattle, Wash., were among three students arrested Friday night for public intoxication and disorderly conduct at an off-campus party, South Bend police said.
