Dr. Keith P. Henschen, University of Utah professor and a sport psychologist for the United States track team, recently returned from the World Track and Field Championships in Japan where he worked with the nation's top high jumpers.
Henschen has been a professor for the U.'s department of exercise and sport science and the College of Health since 1971.He consults many teams and organizations including the Utah Jazz, the United States Gymnastics Federation, The Athletic Congress, the U. football team, the Utah Highway Patrol, the Salt Lake Police Department and the U. women's gymnastics, softball and basketball teams.
As the recipient of the John R. Park fellowship, Henschen visited Orebro, Sweden, in June where he made presentations at the First World Congress on Mental Skills.
