A Brigham Young University professor has been named a fellow of the American Statistical Association.

G. Rex Bryce, BYU professor of statistics, was one of 32 honored by the association, one of the country's oldest professional organizations. The association was founded in 1839. Fellows are chosen for outstanding professional contribution and leadership in the field of statistics.
