Summer doesn't officially end until Sept. 22, as Utahns continue to bask in warm temperatures. The mercury shot up to a high of 84 Sunday at the Salt Lake International Airport. The evening and Tuesday forecast calls for fair to partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of afternoon and evening thundershowers in the Salt Lake, Ogden and Provo areas. Gusty winds will whip up near the showers. Highs will be 85 to 90 degrees with a 20 percent chance of rain through Tuesday.
