Bruce Parratt McBride, DDS., age 86, died August 30, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born March 1, 1905, to Lyman A. and Ida M. Parratt McBride. Married Mae Mallet August 28, 1930; she died in 1958. Married Elaine Grundvig Reiser in 1959; She died in 1986. He graduated from the University of California College of Dentistry in 1927 and practiced dentistry in Tooele and Salt Lake City from 1927 to 1970. He served as secretary and president of the Utah Dental Association. He served in the U.S. Army Dental Corps from 1943 to 1946, and was on a hospital ship in the Philippines during the invasion of Manila in 1945.He is survived by two sons: Neil M. McBride, San Jose, California; and L. Brian McBride, Millbrae, California; eight grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia McBride, of Hawaii. Preceded in death by a brother, June McBride.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 11 a.m. in the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Tooele City Cemetery at 1 p.m.
