To the editor:
I'm writing this letter in response to Dennis Lythgoe's review of The Lettermen show at Symphony Hall earlier this month.I was visiting friends and was fortunate enough to attend this show. The Utah Symphony was great and The Lettermen were even better. I have listened to their music for years and this group is the best ever. The solos were beautifully done and so were their classic hits. It was obvious by all the standing ovations that the audience loved them.
Hopefully, the next music critic you send to review a performance will know something about good music. Also, I resent being referred to as a "gray concertgoer," which I am not.
