Clay Case pours concrete for a new Wal-Mart store at 1355 South and Sandhill Road in Orem. Dave Busker, project superintendent with Union Pointe Construction Corp., said the building, which is just south of Utah Valley Community College, should be completed in mid-December and should open in January 1992. The store was begun in mid-July. The Orem Wal-Mart will be the company's 1,768th store. Two other Wal-Mart stores are scheduled to open in Utah this September, one in Layton and the other in Murray. Busker said the project will cost $2.75 million.
