Refreshed by a two-day hospital stay, Cardinal John O'Connor celebrated Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York on Tuesday and said he'd stick around awhile.

"I got the greatest checkup I've ever had in my life," he said after being treated at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern for heat prostration."They say I have another 100 years as archbishop of New York."

Doctors subjected O'Connor, 71, to what he described Monday as "at least 350 cardiograms" and a stress test. But it wasn't all drudgery, the prelate confessed.
