Two mountain climbers were killed and one was injured in accidents along Mount Rainier's Ingraham Glacier over the Labor Day weekend, a Mount Rainier National Park spokesman said Tuesday.

Seattle native Karl Feichtmeir, 38, died Sunday afternoon after he and climbing partner Mike Rapoport, 29, of San Francisco, slipped on sun-softened ice and fell several hundred feet at about the 12,000-foot level, he said.Rapoport, injured in the fall, was helped by a mountain climbing party that spent Sunday night with him.
