Grant Seely Stevens, age 79, died Monday, September 2, 1991 in Fillmore, Utah.

He was born June 15, 1912 in Holden, Utah to Orson Albert Stevens and Josephine Ockerman. He married Margaret Geneal Works, May 17, 1933 in Delta, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. He was a member of the LDS Church, Holden Ward, where he was a High Priest. He was dearly loved by his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He worked as a farmer, well driller, and a heavy equipment operator.He is survived by his wife, Geneal, Holden; one son, Roland Jesse and Janice Stevens, Renton, Washington; three daughters, Sharon Rae and Dr. J. Kent Marlor, Rexburg, Idaho; Bonnie and Tony J. Dearden, Fillmore; Peggy Butler, Fairview, Utah; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bert and Catherine Stevens, West Jordan; Earl and Lola Stevens, Holden. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Koye McKee; two grandchildren; two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 6, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the Holden LDS Ward Chapel, friends may call prior to the service 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the ward. Interment will be in the Holden Cemetery, under the direction of Olpin Mortuary.
