NYCOM, a Provo-based software company, has developed INSPIR, an integrated learning, delivery and management system that takes existing technology and uses it to link students with information.

"INSPIR links billions of dollars of research and development that has already been gathered to students who otherwise would not have had access to this information," said NYCOM chief executive officer Gary Dan Hill.INSPIR merges existing technology to provide schools, governments and companies with the ability to access, share and receive information. Videos, computer programs and data of all types are available on the same work station.

This fall Provo High School will install INSPIR. "My job is to use technology to help students learn," said Gary Ashton, the school's technical director. "I am excited to be working with technology and a business that is focused on solving Provo High School's specific problems."
