The Central Utah Film Commission has announced that CBS television will produce, "Boys of Twilight" at Orem's Ventura Media Center.
The series will be a mid-season replacement and is the first TV series to come to Utah since the Donny and Marie Show of the 1970s. The series stars Richard Farnsworth and Utah's own Wilford Brimley.According to Marilyn Toone, director of the Central Utah Film Commission, shooting will begin in September using locations in Park City, Heber Valley and Utah County in addition to shooting on the sound stage in Orem.
The show is about two older gentlemen who have lived most of their lives in the town of Twilight. Together they help solve sophisticated crime using good, old-fashioned smarts. The story reflects the old-fashioned community and the people in it.
The series is a production of New World Television, headquartered in Los Angeles.
