Erwin Schick, age 76, died Tuesday September 3, 1991 in a Bountiful Care Center following a lingering illness.
Born October 20, 1914 at Salt Lake City the son of George and Neeltje (Nellie) Pietertje Westbrock Schick. He married Beth Manwaring October 21, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was active in the LDS church, a member of the Bountiful 19th ward, had served a mission to Holland and a couple mission to the Ohio Cleveland Mission. Worked in the Salt lake LDS Temple for over 30 years. Served on General Dwight D. Eisenhower's Staff during World WarII. Governor of Utah for Sertoma International. Retired from Bonneville International corp.Survivors include his wife, Beth of Bountiful; children, Brent and Diane Schick, Centerville; Sandra and Lynn Sanders, St. George; Dean and J'Lene Schick, Provo; Diane and Nolan Pace, Logan; 17 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Nellie Goodrich, Sandy; Mabel Peeke, Filer Idaho; Herman Schick, Oregon; Violet Carr, Centerville; Ruby Eldredge, Buhl, Idaho; Ester Bartlett, Filer Idaho; Marvin Schick, Twin Falls Idaho.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 7, 1991 at 12 noon at the Bountiful 19th LDS Ward. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and on Saturday at the church 10:45-11:45. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
