Emma Palmer Dalton Hussey, age 84, died September 1, 1991 in West Valley City, Utah.

Born July 9, 1907 in Grantsville, Utah, a daughter of James F. and Emma Barrus Palmer. Married Melvin Dalton, August 13, 1924; he preceded her in death December 12, 1944. Married Leonard Hussey November 1972; he preceded her in death July 8, 1982.Emma was a member of the LDS Church where she was active in the Relief Society in Tooele, Grantsville and Salt Lake City. She was an avid gardner, canary fancier and breeder. In her younger years engaged in ballroom dancing at the old Rainbow Rendezvous. Was a member of the Cozy Companions.

Survived by two sons, Erwin LaMar (Moe) Dalton, Kearns; James E. Dalton, Salt Lake City; daughter-in-law, Myrtle Dalton, West Valley City; 18 grand-children; 58 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Nell Lamus, Grantsville. Preceded in death by a son, Melvin Blaine Dalton.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Granger 24th Ward, 3935 So. 1500 West. Friends may call Friday, 7-9 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, and Saturday at the church one hour prior to service. Graveside services will be held at Tooele City Cemetery, 3 p.m.
