Members of the Tri-City Golf Course committee appeared before the City Council Tuesday to give what they called a "State of the Golf Course Address."
Gary Naylor and Bill Pierce, committee chairman, discussed improvements made over the past three years and informed the council of the committee's plans for the future."You can be proud of the golf course that we're all a part of," Pierce said. "We went all out last year to see if we could make the place look beautiful, and it does. There is no finer public golf course in the state of Utah."
Mayor David Holdaway praised the group for making the course financially independent.
"We are very pleased that you've been able to make these improvements and generate your own cash to do that," Holdaway said. The golf course had previously received subsidies from Pleasant Grove City.
The course serves Pleasant Grove, American Fork and Lehi.
