Woody Allen is leaving financially troubled Orion Pictures, the studio that's produced his films for 10 years.
In announcing that he will make his next film for TriStar Pictures, Allen praised his former studio, which produced such movies as "Hannah and Her Sisters" and "Alice.""Every dedicated filmmaker I know is rooting for Orion to return to its old form, and rightly so, because as studios go, they don't come any finer," he said.
Orion still intends to release Allen's recently completed movie "Shadows and Fog" next year. It stars Jodie Foster, Madonna and Mia Farrow.
