To the editor:

Many of us are disturbed over the Utah Jazz ticket sale policy. There is no way most of the fans of the Utah Jazz will ever be able to see a live game because of the high cost of obtaining tickets. The common Utahn cannot afford to pay the non-refundable deposit, let alone the price of a season ticket. If you are really concerned about the Utah Jazz being supported by the citizens of Utah, my 9-year-old son and I have a suggestion:

For each home game, there should be a sufficient number of reasonable seats available to the general public. Have them go on sale a week before each game. Callers could be limited to two seats per phone call.

In this way, those of us who don't have the funds available to purchase season tickets and who are not affiliated with a business that provides tickets for their employees could actually have the chance to attend a Jazz game.

We are hoping that the Utah Jazz haven't become so business-oriented that they have forgotten their real fans.
