Marty Mervin Yeager, 46, died August 22, 1991, in Los Angeles, California.

Born March 27, 1945, in Salt Lake City to Myles A. Yeager and Florence Sundberg Yeager.Marty graduated from South High School, obtained a Fine Arts degree from the University of Utah and served in the Utah National Guard. He loved the arts and basically was self-taught. He learned to play the piano, write music and manuscripts, acted, painted background scenes for movies, and literally created from blank canvas hundreds of images and landscapes. He had many homes and formed friendships throughout the world, though he was best known on the West Coast for his artistic talents. He will be missed.

He is survived by: His parents; two brothers, Myles L. and Monte R. Yeager; and one sister, Deborah C. Smith, all of Salt Lake City.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 7, 3 p.m., at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 So. Vine Street.
