President Bush has stopped taking medication to regulate his heartbeat but still takes other drugs in the wake of his diagnosis early this year with Graves' Disease.

Four months after he suffered an erratic heartbeat while jogging, a spokesman Thursday said Bush was in "excellent health."Bush still takes a drug to prevent blood clots, thyroid medicine and a chewable, low-dosage aspirin every other day to help avoid a heart attack, said deputy White House press secretary Gary Foster.

The 67-year-old president, who had lost about 15 pounds, has stabilized his weight around 195 pounds, Foster said.
