With the end of the tourism season approaching, visiting hours on Temple Square were changed, effective Labor Day, Sept. 2.
Elder Robert B. Harbertson, director of Temple Square, said the fall-winter-spring hours on Temple Square are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with complimentary tours beginning every few minutes.A half-hour recital on the Tabernacle organ will be performed Mondays through Saturdays at noon and on Sundays at 2 p.m.
Elder Harbertson added that visitors can continue to enjoy the traditional weekend musical concerts in the Assembly Hall. Concerts are presented each Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and tickets are not required.
"We had a wondrful summer," he added, speaking of significant groups who visited Temple Square, including international square dancers and gospel singers.
