A 7-year-old Salt Lake boy who took a three-story plunge from an apartment house balcony is home in good condition after a two-day stay at Primary Children's Medical Center.

Jeremiah D. McIntosh, his brother and his father were visiting at an apartment house at 1310 E. 200 South, Tuesday afternoon when the boy apparently fell from a third-floor balcony while playing with his brother, according to Salt Lake fire officials.Witnesses said the boy struck a canvas awning, bounced to the side and landed on his head on the sidewalk.

The boy was conscious and talking when paramedics arrived. After spending Tuesday night and all of Wednesday in the hospital, McIntosh was released Thursday.
