Dough flew at a commercial bakery when a line from a trailer delivering flour clogged up, creating enough pressure to explode and knock the truck on its side.

A worker at Metz Bakery, 3475 S. 300 West, was knocked into the air and blown back about 20 feet but wasn't injured, said Salt Lake County Fire Capt. Scott Collins.A tanker-trailer carrying flour was offloading at the bakery at about 11 p.m. when the pressure from the backed-up line grew so intense the seams in the trailer failed, Collins said.

Some of the flour formed a cloud that settled about 8 inches deep on the bakery floor. But the explosion also burst a steam line, and the moisture clotted the flour into clumps of goo, officials said.
