Annie Laurie DeWeese Houser, passed peacefully away in Sandy, Utah, Jan. 12, 1992.

She was born December 15, 1911, Ola, Arkansas to Reginald Carlisle and Saretha Nunn DeWeese. She Married Orville Francis Houser August 23, 1928 in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where Orville's father, Chauncy Wilson Houser, owned and operated a sawmill. Annie's father was an agent for the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad at Pagosa Springs, LaVeta, La Jara, and Antonito, Colorado. Most of her later life was spent in Alamosa, Colorado, except for the last 16 years, which was spent in Utah, near her son and his family. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Orville, August 17, 1990.She is survived by her son, Richard Allen and his wife, Dorothy, Sandy; her daughter, Marilyn Foss, and her husband, Scott, Anacortes, Wash.; four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 1992 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 South 1700 East, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
