Theodore "Ted" Frederick Glauser, age 80, passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 1992 at his home.
He was born November 26, 1911 in Logan, Utah, a son of Frederick and Martha Von Niederhauser Glauser. He was married to Cleo Allen March 18, 1936 in the Logan LDS Temple. He had been a building contractor for many years. He had resided in the Logan area until 1956 at which time he moved to Clearfield. He graduated from Logan High School in 1929. He was a member of the Clearfield 6th LDS Ward where he had served as Sunday School president, in the Elder's Quorum presidency and also has president. He served two stake missions, he was a counselor in the bishopric, he had served as a bishop, stake high councilor, High Priest group leader, and recently as Assistant PFR for the Clearfield North Stake. He loved horses, fishing, hunting, golf and his family.Survived by his wife, Clearfield; two sons and five daughters, T. Barbara and Dennis Brown, Layton; Julie and Bryan Geary, Evanston, Wyo.; 35 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters, Wesley A. Glauser, St. George;
Melvin D. Glauser, Kaysville; Kenneth A. Glauser, Ogden; Bessie Davis, Logan; Leona Spackman, Nev.; Ruth Liljenquist, Tustin, Calif.; Carma Watts, Logan.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 11 a.m. in
the Clearfield 6th LDS Chapel, 300 No. 200 West. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 So. State Street, and at the church Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist Memorial Park, Layton.
