James Charles Jones, 78, our loving husband, father and grandfather, died January 15, 1992.

Born July 16, 1913, in Barrow-in-Furness, England, to James Charles and Mary McDonald Jones. Married Kathleen Mary Grabner, June 19, 1945, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jim was a veteran of World War II. Member Catholic Church. A former resident of Copperfield and Bingham Canyon. He was a Shriner and member of the Argenta Lodge #3, F&AM. Former employee of Honeywell for 22 years. Jim was founder, owner and operator of Allied Automation.Survivors: wife, Kathleen, Murray; children, Richard C. and wife, Shari; Karen Valdez and husband, Steve, all Taylorsville; Chris Jones, Murray; Kathy Murphy and husband, John, South Jordan; grandchildren, Kim, Joe and Cori Murphy, Jessica Valdez, Kelsey and Lexi Jones, Sean and Michael Ginnis; brothers and sister, Bill, West Jordan; Jack, Copperton; Mary Tangaro, Midvale. Preceded in death by brothers, Joe and George.

Funeral services Saturday, January 18, 1992,

1 p.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, where friends may call Friday 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services. Burial: Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to your favorite charity if that be your wish.
