Law enforcement officials say they have broken up an LSD distribution ring that was selling to Carbon High School students.

Don Kelly, director of the Carbon-Emery Drug Task Force, said $2,000 worth of the drug was seized.Melinda Davis, 21, Todd Austin, 25, and Raymond Wayman, 27, both of Price, were charged with possession and distribution of the drug.

Kelly said there has been a significant increase in LSD use among the high school students because it is cheap, selling for $4 to $5 a hit.
