Police are still looking for two men who tied up 13 employees and robbed a Sandy grocery store.

Two men apparently hid inside Ream's, 10650 S. 700 East, Sunday night until the store closed about 11 p.m.Shortly thereafter, the men began accosting store employees one by one, taking them into a back room and tying them up with electrical cords, said Sandy Police officer Gwen Moore.

One of the bandits hit one of the employees on the side of the face. "He did it just to let the employees know they were serious," Moore said.

After stealing an undetermined amount of money from the store, the bandits gathered the car keys from the employees and stole cash and other items from the cars. The robbers then escaped in one of the employees' vehicles, a blue 1969 Ford pickup truck, license plate 0021 BW.

About 15 minutes after the bandits fled, the employees were able to free themselves and call police.

The robbers were wearing dark sweaters, dark ski masks and gloves. One was 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 190 pounds. The other was 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds. Each carried a revolver.

They also had a stun gun, which they left at the scene. Police are processing the gun for fingerprints.
