New grocery store
The owners of a soon-to-open store in Salem say it will offer customers the quick ease of a convenience store and the discount prices of larger grocery chains.

City officials say they have filled one key vacancy, city attorney, and could fill another, that of city administrator, later this week. (See Page B3.)

Due to air stagnation, the Utah Division of Air Quality suggests that all non-essential use of motor vehicles be reduced. The forecast is for increasing pollution levels with little change.
