Myton and Fort Duchesne, both in Duchesne County, were two of the 34 weather stations that reported measurable precipitation for the week that ended Friday, Jan. 24.
Four stations reported just a trace of precipitation, the Utah Climate Center at Utah State University reported Wednesday.With another week of very light precipitation, the water year (that began last Oct. 1) is 94 percent of normal for the state, compared with 98 percent of normal last week and 87 percent for the corresponding week a year ago, state climatologists said.
The highest reported temperature (58 degrees) for the past week occurred at Zion National Park, followed by 55 degrees at Cedar City, 53 at St. George, 50 at Kanab and 49 at Richfield.
Lowest reported minimum temperatures were minus 18 at Jensen, Uintah County; minus 14 at Hanksville, Wayne County, and North Logan; minus 11 at Panguitch; and minus 9 at Green River.
