Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Clyde D. Iorg, passed away suddenly January 2, 1992 at a local hospital from a heart attack.

Born June 7, 1925 in Upalco, Utah, a son of Claude Hershel and Irene Potts Iorg. Married Alyce Chasel of Neola, Utah, September 12, 1946. He was devoted to baseball and touched many young boy's lives while coaching Taylorsville Babe Ruth Baseball for many years. He helped build Taylorsville Babe Ruth Field. Avid golfer. He was especially proud watching his grandchildren play baseball/softball. He retired form a life long career in transport refrigeration. Veteran of World War II.Survived by wife; daughters and son, Mrs. Jerry (Delena) Wickard, Issaquah, Wash.; Mrs. Cal (Patti) Gillen, Murray; Mrs. Vern (Jana) Priest, West Jordan; Clay Iorg, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren; four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Sunday, 5-7 p.m. and Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
