Two men work on a spill boom that was put in place to catch oil from a ruptured pipeline about 60 miles southwest of Anchorage. Oil from the Kenai pipeline is breaking up and does not appear to be threatening shorelines in the fish-rich Cook Inlet, a company official said Monday. The pipeline froze and burst early Saturday, spilling an estimated 16,900 gallons of oil.
