SHARE FIRE RESTRICTIONS LIFTED ON NORTHERN UTAH LAND

Fire restrictions on state, federal and private land in northern Utah have been removed.

People may again build campfires and smoke in the state's wildlands.The Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and state Lands and Forestry Division lifted the ban as of 8 a.m. today because cooler weather and modest precipitation had eased the fire danger.
