Neva Beth Stringham Winkel, age 71, died October 28, 1992 in West Valley City.
Born May 14, 1921 in Midvale, Utah, a daughter of William and Elva Nicholson Stringham. Married Kenneth R. Winkel July 18, 1945 in Salt Lake City. Member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. Former employee of St. Mark's Hospital.Survived by husband, Kearns; two sons and three daughters, Richard and Robert, both of Kearns; Janice Martin, Hungry Horse, Mont.; Patricia Abajo, Cypress, Calif.; Christine Miller, West Jordan; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; father, William Stringham, Salt Lake City; sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Chindgren, Salt Lake City.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Friday, 6-7 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Friday, at 7 p.m. Committal services in the Valley View Memorial Park.
