Duane Todd Bracken died October 1, 1992.

Born January 9, 1916 in Roosevelt, Utah, to George and Ellen Todd Bracken. He graduated from Altera High School. Served in World War II, from 1944 to 1946, in the Philippines and Japan. Married Beulah Percival, March 24, 1948 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Worked as a carpenter, as a draftsman for Winburn Architecture and then for the LDS Church. Was an active member of the LDS Church. Served as a ward clerk, stake clerk, High Councilman, High Priest Group Leader. He served two stake missions and was working in the name extraction program at the time of death.Survived by his wife Beulah, South Salt Lake; sons, Jerald and his wife, Ruth, Bennion; Raymond and his wife, Sandra, Murray; Allen and his wife, Lyn, Layton; Brent and his wife, Annette, West Jordan; 16 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Karl and Donna Bracken, Murray; Mrs. Lynn (Merle) Campbell, Ione Calif.; Guy and Deloris Bracken, Ione, Calif.; Mrs. Elton (Ardis) Kettle, Taylorsville; Mrs. Chuck (Rhea) Poole, Taylorsville; Lynn and Dorothy Bracken, Mesa, Arizona. Preceded in death by parents and one sister.

Services will be held at Madison LDS Ward, 300 East 2700 South, 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 1992. Friends may call at Colonial Mortuary, 2128 South State, Monday, October 5, between 6 and 8 p.m. and one hour prior to service Tuesday. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
