Hal Talley Foster, age 59, died Oct. 6, 1992 in a Salt Lake hospital of heart failure.

Born February 25, 1933 in Safford, Arizona to James Albert and Myrtle Talley Foster. Married Darlene Barney March 30, 1962 in Los Cruces, New Mexico; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Retired Chief Petty Officer, US Navy. Reservation agent at Continental Air Lines. Active member of the LDS Church. Was very involved in politics. He loved and was loved in return by his neighbors, friends and co-workers.Survivors, wife, Murray; two daughters, Kelly and John Lake, Salt Lake City; Ann Foster; one son, James Foster; three grandsons, Christopher, Taylor, and Talley Lake; three sisters, Leota Dowdle, Geneva Dean and Viola Romney, all of Arizona; one brother, Gerald Foster, New Mexico.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 a.m. in the Murraydale Ward, 6300 South 300 East. Friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Friday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m.

Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
