A Utah truck driver has pleaded not guilty to a charge of negligent homicide in connection with a June traffic accident that killed four people.

Lewis Allen, 41, was the driver of a cattle truck that collided with a Ford Bronco while that vehicle was waiting for a motorhome to turn off U.S. 191 between Bozeman and Big Sky.Four occupants of the Bronco were killed - Stacie Hermann, Alex Wallace, Ed Wallace and Anthony Mulhern. The driver, Mike Ferris, and another passenger, Dana Wallace, survived.

Allen posted a $5,000 bond after his hearing on Thursday, and District Judge Tom Olson said he would set a trial date on Nov. 16.
