More than 25 decorated Christmas trees will be donated to needy Tooele County families this Christmas through the efforts of Tooele High School students.
The student body officers have spearheaded the effort, with help from clubs and organizations. The groups will decorate their trees Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 1 and 2 after school and in the evening. The trees will be on display Thursday and Friday, Dec. 3 and 4, at the school. On Saturday, Dec. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m., the community will be invited to see the students' work. A program will follow, with selected families' drawing numbers to claim trees.
