Steve Young and Sterling Sharpe, a passing combination any team would envy, were the leading vote-getters for The Associated Press 1992 All-Pro team.

Young, in his first season as the unchallenged regular quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, received 78 of 80 votes cast by a national media panel. Sharpe, the Green Bay Packers receiver who broke Art Monk's NFL mark with 108 receptions, got 76 votes. Seattle tackle Cortez Kennedy was the defensive leader with 71 votes.
