GEORGIA-PACIFIC CALLS PST VANS A `GOOD PARTNER'

PST Vans Inc., 1865 W. 2100 South, has received the "Best Show on the Road Good Partners Award" from Georgia-Pacific's pulp and paper transportation group in Atlanta, Ga.

The company was honored for equipment excellence in 1992. Ken Norton, chief executive officer, and Bob Hill, president, received the award.G-P developed the Good Partners program to reduce freight costs by transporting more of the company's pulp and paper products on fewer carriers. There are 57 Good Partner carriers in the program, and in 1992 they carried 70 percent of G-P's pulp and paper products.
