Eva Matilda Johnson Jacobsen, 68 of South Salt Lake, died January 30, 1992.
Born July 11, 1923 in Kaysville, Utah, the daughter of Walter Thomas and Mary Vest Johnson. Married Orson H. Jacobsen January 10, 1942 in Evanston, Wyoming; he preceded her in death February 13, 1984. She was a member of the St. Ann's Parish of the Roman Catholic Church. She was loved, cherished and respected by all who knew her.She spent much of her time and energy in caring for her family, neighbors, and friends, and especially enjoyed caring for children.
She is survived by five children, Mrs. Lance (Jeannette) Irvine, Darrell and wife Ann
Jacobsen, Carol L. Jacobsen, Mrs. Daniel
(Donna) Orgill, Randy W. and wife Dianne
Jacobsen; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and sisters, her granddaughter Donna, and son-in-law, Lance.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday,
10 a.m., at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South. A Vigil service with Rosary will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Church, where friends may call from 6-7 p.m. Committal, Larkin Sunset Lawn. Directed by Neil O'Donnell & Sons.
