Gordon W. Davis, age 56, died peacefully January 29, 1992 as a result of lukemia.Born November 18, 1935 to Benjamin Franklin and Gladys Wilkins Davis in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Shirley Snell; later divorced. Married Yvonne Smith June 7, 1973 in Elko, Nevada. Attended Cyprus High School. Member of the Football team. Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict; U.S. Army Reserve, 419th Transportation Company. Retired with 26 years of service. Past president Fraternal Order of Eagles, Price Aerie 3740, AQHA. Member of Sheet Medal Workers, Salt Lake Local # 312.
Survived by wife, Price; three daughters, Kim Christensen, Jodie Hymas, and Carrie Rehak, all West Valley City; one son, William, El Toro, Calif.; five brothers, Roy, Charles, Lowell, Russ, and Lynn, all Salt Lake City; sisters, Helen Clark, Sun Valley, Calif.; Louella Shaw, Carol Jones, Gwen Ridd, all Salt Lake City.
