William David Roberts, age 50, died February 12, 1992 at his home in Henefer of cancer.
He was born January 23, 1942 in Coalville, Utah, a son of David Owen and Rhea Stephens Roberts. He married Linda Jensen, February 3, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He attended North Summit Schools. Was an active member of Henefer 1st LDS Ward, served as home teacher, Elder's Quorum president, member of Sunday School presidency and a teacher. He was owner and operator of Shamrock Farms, raising dairy cattle and hogs in Henefer. He had worked Doroway Farms in Snowville, Utah and UDOT. Bill served as Summit County Farm Bureau President and served on the Farm Bureau State Board of Directors. He was Young Farmer's & Rancher State President.Surviving are his wife, Henefer; two sons and two daughters, David (and wife Kaydean) Roberts, Morgan; Shayne (and wife Becky) Roberts, Henefer; Rhea Roberts, Henefer; Laura (and husband Tom) Laser, Clearfield; four grandchildren; also surviving are three sister, Mrs. Chet (Carol) Foree, Clearfield; Mrs. Bob (Leone) Creager, Washington Terrace; Mrs. Tomas (Elsena) Jones, West Point; step-mother, Laura Oliver Roberts, Henefer; grandmother, Beatrice Stephens, Ogden. Preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. in the Henefer Ward Chapel, friends may call at the Henefer ward on Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday 11:45-12:45 p.m. Interment Henefer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral directors: Walker Mortuary, Morgan.
