SHARE 2 COLLEGES PLAN DAIRY BROADCAST

In response to interest expressed by owners of the 1,500 dairy farms statewide, USU and Washington State University will team up Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., to present a special satellite and microwave broadcast on managing replacement dairy heifers.

The broadcast can be viewed at eight locations statewide or on home satellite dishes.Microwave transmission sites include Cedar City, at Southern Utah University; Ephraim, at Snow College; Heber City, at Wasatch High School; Logan, at USU Telecommunications Center Studio; Ogden, at Weber State University; Orem, at Utah Valley Community College; Richfield, at Sevier Valley Technical Center; and Salt Lake City, at Salt Lake Community College.

Because the program is broadcast on the Agriculture Satellite Network (AG*SAT), it is also available via home satellite dishes, either on the C-Band or KU-Band.

On C-Band tune to Spacenet 3, Transponder 16; on KU-Band tune to Spacenet 1, Transponder 23.
