Each year thousands of toner cartridges for laser printers and computers are thrown away, affecting the environment. Some Utah firms recycle those cartridges so that fewer parts end up in landfills.
Laster Perfect Corp. of Salt Lake City is a firm that recycles. And for every used cartridge donated to Laser Perfect, the company will give $5 in the donor's name to Utah homeless.Cartridges may be donated at 3345 S. 300 West. For more information, call 483-1400.
