Our loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, Kay Ly Nguyen, 38, of Taylorsville died February 17, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born April 14, 1953 in Ha-noi, Viet Nam, the daughter of Quan Huu Ly and Yen Thi Tang. She moved with her family to the United States from Viet Nam in 1975. She married Can D. Nguyen June 2, 1978 in Provo, Utah. She was employed by National Semiconductor Corp. She was a very active member of the Vietnamese Catholic Community of Salt Lake City. She was very caring and loving to her family and friends and those she associated closely with.Survived by her husband, Can; daughter, An; two sons, Dan and Vinhson; parents, Quan Ly and Yen Tang, all Taylorsville; six sisters, Nghi Ly, Garden Grove, Calif.; Tai Ly, Houston, Texas; Huong Ly, Arlington, Texas; Hoa Ly, Houston, Texas; Hanh Ly, Pomona, Calif.; Ha Ly, Manhattan, Kansas; three brothers, Ky Ly, Corona, Calif.; Thanh Ly, Wichita, Kansas; Dat Ly, Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday,
10 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1040 West 400 So. A vigil service will be held Friday
8 p.m. at the church where friends may call from
6-8 p.m. Funeral Directors: Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary.
