Ada Dolch, founder of the Academy of Finance program, will visit Salt Lake City Wednesday, Feb. 26, through March 1 to review the program operating at Kearns and Cottonwood high schools.
The academy program involves high school juniors and seniors in a comprehensive financial career preparation program that often leads to jobs or additional education in the field for interested students.Dolch will be accompanied by nine academy students from Brooklyn, N.Y., who will be guests in the homes of Granite District students enrolled in the Utah program. The guests will tour area businesses and attractions as well as visit classes at Kearns and Cottonwood.
