Provo City Council
- Amended the city master plan from very low density to low density on 44 acres at 2280 W. 450 North. Gardner Deschamps intends to develop the property as a mixed-use housing project to include single-family dwellings, condominiums and a retirement community.- Amended the city policy declaration to annex 57 acres known as the Stubbs clay pit at 4800 N. 1200 East into Provo.
- Reduced the number of members on the Metropolitan Water Board from seven to five.
- Appointed Richard Carpenter, Geraldine Kay and Jeremy Friedbaum to the Media Review Commission, and Cleo Petty to the Council on Aging.
- Approved a contract with Michael B. Thornton, the newly selected council attorney.
